Dr. Ammar Milad Nasr Omar is a respected academic, researcher, and media specialist with more than fourteen years of experience in university teaching, journalism, and communication sciences. He currently serves as a faculty member within the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Libya. Dr. Ammar holds a PhD in Media and Communication Studies, focusing on the role of journalism and media institutions in promoting social responsibility and intellectual security. He also earned his Master's degree in Media from the University of Tripoli and completed advanced academic training in journalism and communication sciences. Throughout his academic career, he has taught a wide range of courses including media research methods, journalism writing, electronic journalism, public relations, communication theory, and media management. His research focuses on media ethics, crisis communication, public information strategies, and the role of the media in strengthening social stability and responsible communication. Dr. Ammar has participated in numerous international conferences and scientific forums and has published several academic studies addressing media policy, journalism practice, and communication strategies in the Arab world. He has also contributed to training programs aimed at developing professional skills for journalists, media professionals, and young leaders. As Senior Advisor for Media Strategy & International Communications at Non Frontier Disabled, Dr. Ammar provides strategic guidance on media outreach, public communication, and international visibility. His expertise supports the organization’s mission to advocate for the rights, dignity, and inclusion of persons with disabilities while strengthening the organization’s global communication and public engagement.
